7th A·PLEC / 7è A·PLEC

Activitat formativa adreçada a:

  •  Mestres (d’escola bressol, educació primària i secundària).

7th APLEC – International Conference on Educational Folding Didactics

From 22th to 24th november 2024
Badalona (Catalonia), Escola Betúlia

A whole weekend of workshops, practices, communications, talks, conferences, exhibitions, guided tours, happenings and other training activities on various aspects of folding, designed to learn how to fold and to teach how to fold, held by folding educators from various countries.

Training activity aimed at:

  • Teachers (nursery, primary and secondary education).
  • Leisure education professionals.
  • Educational and therapeutic services for: the elderly, hospitals, prisons, refugee support centers, specialized education, etc.
  • Students and teachers from art schools and universities, educational sciences, mathematics, etc.
  • Other people with an interest in the pedagogical application of folding in any field.

Folding is not just a children’s leisure activity or an art reserved for those who have this ability, but above all a means of educational development for all people.

With this training we aim to introduce, enrich and promote the didactics of folding both in formal education, into the school curriculum, and in non-formal education (non-regulated education), through the transmission and exchange of experiences between the participants, so that each educator discovers his own possibilities, his solutions, tricks, methods, ideas and projects according to each educational situation.

No prior knowledge of folding is required to participate in this activity.

The 7th A·PLEC International Conference on Folding Didactics for Educators is recognized by the Generalitat de Catalunya as a worthwhile training activity for university and non-university teachers in Catalonia.
